OUR CONSTITUTION

I am Local Correspondent for the Council areas of Hertsmere and Three Rivers. I also have a remit to act for the OSS in other areas in Hertfordshire in certain cases.

Local Correspondents are not local branches of the Society, but they do have to act within guidelines issued by the Society.

Any issue of public rights of way (including bridleways, cycle tracks and byways), any issue concerning commons or public open space is of concern to the Society and therefore to its correspondents.

There are articles and local news to be found there, much of which is pertinent to the Society, but the Society does not necessarily endorse all that is said there.

Our Head Office Site at www.oss.org.uk has more information about the society.
